Report a concern or complaint
The Mukwege Foundation works with survivors of conflict-related sexual violence around the world. Our work also reaches vulnerable communities, families and other individuals affected by conflict.
Their safety, dignity and trust are at the centre of everything we do.
Therefore, we encourage project participants, partners, and others to come forward with concerns or complaints if they have a negative experience working with the Mukwege Foundation.
In our implementing countries, concerns or complaints can be reported via our partners or our country offices.
Report a concern or (alleged) misconduct
The following option for reporting (alleged) misconduct is available at the level of the Mukwege Foundation Headquarters in the Netherlands.
- Complaints related to (alleged) breaches of the Code of Conduct can be sent to the Mukwege Foundation global email address for complaints: integrity@mukwegefoundation.org
- The mailbox is managed by the Mukwege Foundation HQ Integrity Coordinator, who registers reported misconduct received.
- All reports are handled confidentially, and no one will face retaliation for reporting in good faith.
- Complainants are notified (in writing or verbally, depending on the situation) within 5 working days about the proper receipt of (alleged) misconduct and about the expected timeframe for responding to the (alleged) misconduct.
