Call for Volunteer: Translators Application form

The SEMA Network, supported by the Mukwege Foundation, brings together victims and survivors of conflict-related sexual violence from 29 countries. Through SEMA, survivors unite to stand up for their rights, learn from each other, and carry out international advocacy on sexual violence in conflict and its long-term consequences.

Since SEMA meetings are primarily held online, we are looking for volunteer interpreters who can provide simultaneous interpretation, as well as volunteer translators to support our work.

If you are an interpreter or translator who wants to contribute your skills to something meaningful, we warmly welcome you to join our dedicated team of volunteers.

Languages needed

We are primarily looking for simultaneous interpreters and translators in the following:

  • English ↔ Dari (Simultaneous interpreters and translators)
  • English ↔ Tetun (Simultaneous interpreters and translators)
  • English ↔ Burmese (Simultaneous interpreters and translators)
  • English ↔ Rohingya (Simultaneous interpreters and translators)
